History
Ward Gray Ashenhurst was the son of Francis Ashenhurst, archdeacon, of Kingswinford, Staffs., was born between 24 March and 2 June 1784.
He was admitted at Pembroke College, Oxford, on 2 June 1701, aged 17, and afterwards at Trinity College, Cambridge, on 24 March 1703, aged 18.
His will, dated 27 July 1731, was proved on 23 December in the same year.
