Writes to express his deep sympathy with Nora on the death of Henry Sidgwick. Declares that his loss is a heavy one, to Cambridge and 'to all serious students.' Claims that his intercourse with him is amongst his happiest memories, and that it was 'impossible not to learn much from his subtlety of thought and comprehensive fairness.' Believes that God's blessing is upon him.
