Written in The Complete Pocketbook; or Gentleman's and Tradesman's Daily Journal, for ... 1812 with entries from January to 30 June, when he left Cambridge. The entries record payments to tradesmen, Christmas presents for the laundress, coal porter, washerwoman, and bedmaker, as well as wins and losses at cards, visits elsewhere, and places he dined. In addition there are regular payments to William Atkinson his servant.
Accompanied by 55 pages laid in loose to the front pocket of the volume, a daily journal recording a tour to Scotland between 25 [April 1817] to 10 [Sept. 1817]. With 4 pages of a diary from Sunday, September 14 to Monday, September 29, no year given, in a different hand. 60 pages laid in loose to the front pocket of a journal of a tour in Scotland.
