Dated October 8 1906 - Thanks him for 'Adonis, Attis, Osiris'; theorises that the the removal of the Osiris Feasts in the Roman calendar to the beginning of November is due to the Celtic Feast of Souls at that time, and that the Roman Army was attempting to consolidate holidays; remarks on the origin of Anthesteris, and doesn't see reason to call it a flower festival.
