Cuttings relating to a number of different subjects: a libel case, superstition in church architecture, naval prizes, church reform, a report from the Abergavenny Cymreigyddion Society, and a letter to the Editor of the Oxford Herald by William Sewell on Oxford theology. Accompanied by the printed minutes of a meeting of the clergy of the Archdeaconry of Berks., Apr. 1850 concerning the the Court of Final Appeal, printed draft of an address to the Archbishop of Canterbury concerning Mr Gorham's views on baptismal regeneration and a MS draft in the form of a letter from an unidentified person, and a draft of a letter in an unidentified hand suggesting a revision. Accompanied by a printed broadsheet headed, "Memoria Technica, for the Order of the Books in the Bible".
