        History

        Fardon was born at Witney on 13 January 1776, the son of John Fardon and his wife Elizabeth. In about 1805 he and William Phillips went into partnerhip as printers, at George Yard, Lombard Street, London. The partnership was dissolved on 30 April 1807 (London Gazette, 13 May 1807, p. 2). Fardon died the following month and was buried in Bunhill Fields, London, on the 25th (ancestry.co.uk).
