Bookplate of Joseph Rix, St Neots, Huntingdonshire. A note on the flyleaf bears the name S[amuel] Wilton Rix, Beccles, with the information that it is 'from the library of my very dear Brother Joseph Rix MD'. A pasted in letter to the Editor of the Gentleman's Magazine (in both printed and MS versions) from 'G.C.G' draws attention to the presence of 'beautiful drawings' of Huntingdonshire seals 'at present in the library of Sir Rich[ard] Colt Hoare, Bart'; an annotation on the MS letter reads 'It comes from Mr [?] Gorhan'.
