History
The Indian Students’ Union and Hostel, or Indian YMCA, was founded in London in 1920. The hostel was at 112 Gower Street from 1923 till 1950, when it moved to new premises in Fitzroy Square. An extension to the latter building was built between 1960 and 1962.
