During the cataloguing of Sraffa's library some papers were removed from the books in which they had been placed. It is these items that are listed in the section below. In most cases the reference from the Sraffa printed book catalogue was noted and these references are given here in square brackets. While the majority of items relate to the volume in which Sraffa placed them, this is something of a miscellany

Items in this section are typescripts of works sent to Sraffa, either for comment or as a courtesy, mostly by academics but in the last case by a publisher. This section is not intended to include straightforward offprints which will be found in the Sraffa printed book catalogue

All but three of Sraffa's diaries are appointment diaries and the information they contain is brief. Items B53 to B55 are journals of trips abroad
