H. V. Berry thinks the Labour Party should take the line suggested in the enclosed (a cutting from The Times). Hopes that Attlee will be able to see Roy Chowdhury before the meeting of the Select Committee (on Indian Constitutional Reform).

‘Do not you think the view of the Labour Party should be to support the enclosed policy? I have had a letter from H. V. Berry this morning highly commending it.’

(The enclosure was apparently a cutting referring to policies adopted by Roosevelt in America. See 1/68 and 5/50.)
