Dated January 19th, 1917 - Thanks them for their condolence note, describes Solomon's funeral and tombstone, the plans to publish his remaining literary works, the help of Alexander Marse [recte Marx] in going through the papers and in writing a necrology, in which he quotes from Frazer's condolence letter, discusses other work of Solomon's that is not in a condition to be published.
