Sea View, Lower Largo, Fife, N.B. Dated 27th March, 1899 - Is working on the history of British Wild Cattle (i.e. British white cattle) and asks why the white bull appears on so many crests, whether the breed regarded with reverence because of its colour, if the reverence accorded them a survival of the care given sacrificial animals by the Druids and Romans.
