General correspondence on research in fluid dynamics, publications, conferences and visits. The letters for 1929 refer to the Taylors' journey through Dutch East Indies and also Taylor's trip in R 101. Letters for 1945 refer to Burgers' journey to England to learn scientific developments, etc. during the period of the German occupation of Holland. The 1973 correspondence is mainly recollections of visits and of other scientists.
