Text on first page under the heading 'Prov. 14.6: A scorner seeketh wisedome & findeth it not, but knowledge is easy to him that inderstandeth'; quotations also on knowledge from Cicero and Romans. Sermon on 3. Colossians. 2, 'Sett your affections on things above, not on things upon the earth', begins on f. 1v.
