On embossed notepaper, The Deanery, Chichester. - Seeks nomination for his son to compete for a Foreign Office or Treasury post; he will travel abroad for six months after graduating in October; his own work very different from that in the North; is currently writing lives of the Archbishops of Canterbury; 'I am turning the Cathedral 'inside out'. It will be very beautiful when it is done'.

The Deanery, Chichester - Can WW recommend someone at Cambridge who would be willing to search or transcribe certain manuscripts housed in the libraries of Cambridge. His son James Hook is looking forward to coming up to Trinity next October.
