Part of Papers of Robert Calverley Trevelyan and Elizabeth Trevelyan

[on headed notepaper for 40 Ennismore Gardens]. Thanks his mother for her letter. Would 'like very much to go to Welcombe [for the holidays]' as he would 'not like to miss going there at Christmas'. It 'freezes every night, but it is very good weather'. Does not think the school will win its next match, since 'so many of our best players have left'. Van de Weyer says he may get Robert 'some chalk fossils' next term. Asks his mother if she can 'send home for Jukes' manual of Geology', as he wants it in Dublin; it is 'either on the shelf in [his] room or in the Schoolroom'. Asks if he will be travelling via Reading or by London. Sends love to all.
