The cover photograph shows the busts of Einstein, Hahn, Lise Meitner and von Laue at a memorial celebration of the 100th anniversary of their births. Frisch is one of those shown admiring the busts.

Much of the correspondence is re electron diffraction with an accompanying exchange of plates and photographs. Folder includes a letter from P.P. Ewald asking Thomson to review von Laue's book `Materiwellen und ihre Interferenzen'.
