Paris - M. Bérard reports that he has taken six months of tide observations in New Zealand, and Beautemps-Beaupré suggests Whewell contact him directly. He encloses a letter from M. Chazallon [Add.MS.a.202/87], whom he has asked to help him look in the archives for unpublished tide observations.
