R. Romanes when he lost his sight, has reread Milton's words about his blindness; encloses her husband's note and cheque (item 48b).
Item 48b: The University House, St. Andrews - St. Clair Baddeley asks for 2 copies of the projected volume, one for himself, the other for his brother [John Frederick Baddeley?]; announces the university has just awarded him the LLD.
