Informant: the Attorney General, at the relation of John Vernon, Thomas Rushton, and Henry Wilders. Defendants, Trinity College, Cambridge, the Solicitor General, John Kinder, Charles Boreham, and Robert Ambler. Three manuscript documents, two Brief Answers and a Further Brief Answer, with one printed 'Information' document. Describes the history of the connection with Thomas Alleyne's bequest in 1558, who funded three schools and left property to Trinity College in payment for their management. Kinder, Boreham, and Ambler were the headmasters of the three schools at Uttoxeter, Stone, and Stevenage, respectively. The ability of Dissenters to attend the school in Uttoxeter is discussed, and a detailed description of the property left to Trinity by Mr Alleyne, with a description of the some of the documents relating to the lands and schools held at Trinity College.
