Hopes that the conference at Munich may prevent war, though fears that it will increase the power of Fascism. They would very much have liked to visit, but had already arranged to have Annie [his half-sister]. Originally enclosing an 'excuse from Helicon with two divisions of [his] Provocations in it'.
