Some typed copies of letters from Onslow to the Society also present.

9 Horton Crescent, Rugby — Thanks Onslow for abstracts. Does not believe anyone covering 'Nature', as there are rarely relevant articles. Book reviews not to be abstracted, but relevant books to be flagged. Hopes albinism work going well, despite challenging nature. Asks for a review for the autumn Eugenics Review issue.

Kingsway House, Kingsway — Wants Onslow to write a 'central article on pigmentation' with references to earlier work. Most longer references around 1000 words, but can be longer if it is serves as 'a centre of references to the subject'.

Finally finished with review of Albinism volumes. Concerned about length of time taken to complete, but was busy with 'war research' and pigmentation article. Was unqualified to review optical evidence, so focused on other points. Has not provided footnotes, but listed references concerning 'the cause of pigmentation', which he found the monograph 'extraordinarily deficient' in explaining. Can reformat these references as footnotes if desired.

Haileybury College, Hertford — Thanks Onslow for abstracts. Would be 'extremely grateful' for a regular review 'of the quarter articles in The American Naturalist' and 'Journal of the Biochemical Society'.

Kingsway House, Kingsway — Heard Onslow is perhaps 'willing to write abstracts of some of the books in our library'. Work is progressing, but specialist knowledge and familiarity with texts is necessary. Requests information on 'subjects, authors or particular books' Onslow is knowledgeable about.

Is 'ready to help to a certain extent'. Currently 'engaged in research work for the Medical Research Committee' so restricted in capacity. Special subject is 'Biological Chemistry' with a focus on 'the chemistry of bacterial growth' and 'inheritance of pigmentation in man and animals according to the Mendelian hypothesis'.

Not signed or addressed, but likely a response to R. A. Fisher's letter from August 1915.

Kingsway House, Kingsway — Encloses the first two parts of a 'study in Albinism'. Does not have the third, but it may be in Cambridge. Usually abstracts are 'quite short' but he should use his 'own judgement as to how much is necessary'. The 'prime aim is to be a guide to readers', providing information on 'the contents, method, and general drift'. Happy to receive abstracts from any periodicals mentioned, especially if ready for the October issue of the Eugenics Review.
