Fait partie de Papers of Robert Calverley Trevelyan and Elizabeth Trevelyan
Hedenham Lodge, Bungay, Suffolk. - Sends 'a whole caboodle of soporifics': Trevekyan should not trouble himself too much with the piece on the "Classical Concerto", as Tovey has to add footnotes, reword the tribute to [Alfred] Hipkins, and 'clear up some obscurities'. Feels he should not 'rewrite the whole thing' [originally published in 1903] in his present style. The 'Edinburgh stuff is current literature (or litter)' and may be altered 'at each reissue' in his programmes, so he has no scruples about it.
