Dated 21 March, 1901 - Has been reading the second edition of 'The Golden Bough' and offers additional stories of a stranger as the corn spirit, keeping a boar in the stable, Varro's anointed feet, the swan woman, the cedar of Lebanon, the 'tamaniu', mistletoe in oak, heard Miss Kingsley's paper at the British Association about the secret societies of Africa.
