Fait partie de Papers of Robert Calverley Trevelyan and Elizabeth Trevelyan

Queen's College, Oxford. - Is very sorry not to have written sooner, due to tonsillitis and an operation, to thank Trevelyan for sending his 'fine book of recent poems' ["Aftermath"?]; knew some already; likes them all very much. Thinks the best are 'very great... full of the most lovely music' which he likes 'all the better for its not being highly orchestrated'; suggests that the poetry has 'a chamber music quality... the most intimate beauty of all'.
