Georges, nr Bristol -- Explains that due to ignorance his son George Stott had not been entered on the boards by the close of the Easter term before the Michaelmas term as required by College rules and as he is now informed by Trinity tutor John Cooper, and asks for Whewell's clemency in the matter so that his son may attend Trinity this year rather than next.
