Has been in bed for five weeks since December; thanks for two copies; glad Milnes enjoyed his [Philobiblon *Miscellanies?] article; did not know who had sent 'poor Revel's Portrait' until Mrs Bates [his mother-in-law Lucretia?] found Mrs Procter's note with it much later; asks where Mrs Procter lives so that he can thank her.
