These papers consist primarily of writings by E. H. Neville which are accompanied by a small amount of correspondence, and a box of offprints of articles by and about Neville. Some of the writings are identified, but many are not, and it is not clear if the unidentified writings are lecture notes or drafts of one or more books for publication. These unidentified writings tend to be fair copies, with few alterations. Correspondents include W. W. Rouse Ball, W. E. H. Berwick, A. R. [Forsyth?], E. G. Gallop, Amy Herman, R. A. Herman, J. Jackson, J. E. Littlewood (about G. H. Hardy), and W. F. Sheppard.

Caius Coll. - Pleased to recommend Henry Brown for the position of 'shoeblack in the New Court'; has known him for a 'good many years and have always found him very civil and obliging'.

Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge - Is sending two packets of Herman's notes on Differential Geometry, "18 lbs of them nearly"; is not sending a larger packet of other notes on Solids, as he does not think there is anything in them of interest; notes that among Herman's notes were the proofs of Forsyth's book on DIfferential Geometry. Is going away to Buckinghamshire and says that Neville's notes on spherical harmonics may be sent to him to await his return in Cambridge.

Hotel de Gresley, Fisherman's Walk, Bournemouth -- Sends him a manuscript of her husband's which one of his pupils had returned to her.
