Part of Papers of Richard Monckton Milnes, Lord Houghton
On embossed notepaper, Travellers' Club. - Regrets delay in returning revise of Lady Harcourt's Journal; has been obliged to strike out passages which might injure the Royal Family and others: Lady Harcourt only entrusted the papers to his father with assurances of his discretion; Locker must now exercise same caution but believes interesting information should be published; does not wish to offend the Queen.
