Timberland. - Agrees with the other tenants in being 'intensely against' the idea of 'the turning of the Witham waters into the side drains of Timberland Fens; also in opposition is his fellow Commissioner Mr Mutley [?], Sir Thomas Whitaker's agent. 'We have at the present time more water than can get to the Engine in consequence of the reeds now growing and we cannot expect such a Summer as last neither do we want such a one'.
