Supplies will be sent to Walton on Thames Hospital if desired. Wrote two suggestions to the Committee mentioning the money was received through Mackenzie's office, one of which was accepted. Would appreciate it being forwarded to the Press Association.

Mrs Wood requested an interview, but they are resigning so it was unnecessary. The High Commissioner indicated the N. Z. Contingent Association had established a new hospital that requires supplies. He will ask the Press Association to acknowledge the donation, but wants to see the statement first.

Should mention the New Zealand money came through the High Commissioner's office in the press statement. Could send it to the Press Association or have him send it to the Government Press Agents.

Asks which other hospitals are treating New Zealanders so supplies can be sent. Asks if he has preferences for a paragraph the Committee is sending to papers celebrating the donations of New Zealanders.

Sees 'gifts from the colonies' noted in the papers occasionally. Feels their donators should be publicly acknowledged. Suggests Onslow writes to the High Commissioner to pledge some supplies for hospitals treating New Zealand soldiers.
