32 Hobson Street, Wellington - The Fund is being closed as no more money is being received and Will is leaving on a hospital ship. Around £200 remains to be sent. Is taking Babs to India to marry Harry Milsom before he is deployed to the front. Will visit if she ends up in England afterwards.

33 Hobson Street, Wellington, New Zealand — Dr Collins is on the hospital ship 'Maheno'. Mr Twentyman offered £3 to the Anaesthetics Emergency Fund. Is proud of New Zealand fighters, but upset about the situation in Gallipolli. Had lunch with the Hon. Dr Pomare on the S.S. Arawa.

No. 1 Hospital Ship, The High Seas — The total amount he collected for the Anaesthetic Emergency Fund was around £2500, much more than expected. Heard Hospitals are being taken over by the government and therefore would not require further fundraising. The Maheno was initially to travel from Alexandria to Southampton, but was later diverted to assist wounded soldiers, who they have been transporting around.

Onslow has been ill, delaying this response. The accounts are correct, as the £200 referred to by Mrs Collins was actually sent on July 26 and was more than estimated, totalling £429. 15. 11. The 'Secretary to the Treasury' retains a further small sum for them.
