49 Cambridge Street — The Holton case was passed to Mr Hawkins as it was complicated and urgent. Appears to have received the wrong amount of money. Will return if so. Considering sending a further statement of donations to papers, but doesn't think it will be printed. Mislaid Dr Collins' address. Mrs Riddel wants to send supplies to Serbia but she is against it. Asks his opinion.

49 Cambridge Street — Asks if he has written to the Divisions to announce his resignation. If so she must follow. The two women approached to take over their roles declined. She is willing to continue for a fortnight if needed, but Mr Hawkins and Mrs Wood have been handling the last few cases so there is nothing to do.

Will attend to Saturday's letters as soon as he receives them. Mrs Wood believes their signing with joint signatures appears impersonal. He agrees, as it also obscures who is actually answering. Suggests they abandon joint signature procedures, as it was merely a formality.
