Four letters in which 'Wiley' [a relative?] writes to Susie in Cambridge detailing his honeymoon journey with his wife Emily in France and Italy, describing the Ligurian earthquake of 23 Feb. 1887, its aftermath and impact on their journey from San Remo to Genoa. The remaining two letters from Rome contain his advice on transport to and accommodation in Rome.
