The sketch is captioned ‘Dame Cobb. “Now my little dears when you've done your A. B. C. and sums you shall go out & have some play[.”]’ The sketch includes a board on an easel showing various marks awarded to Macnaghten, Hollond, and Thornton, subscribed ‘Loughrigg Cottage | August 13. 1863.’
