Elmhurst, Spring Grove, Isleworth. - On his return from the Leeds assizes, found Houghton's letter about election to the Athenaeum Club; is very grateful for his interest, though fears 'from your giving me the title of Reverend that you have not the same distinct recollection as I have of our meeting at the late Bishops'. Will attempt to find a member of the Club to propose him and begin to canvas support.
