The poster advertises the May Ball to be held on 14 June 1954, featuring Nat Temple and his Orchestra under the Wren Library, with ticket information at bottom and applications to be made to A. G. Macpherson. Printed by Metcalfe and Co. Ltd on cream paper with dark blue lettering. A second poster has a red update banner with black lettering pasted down announcing that the tickets for the Champagne Supper are sold out but that there are a few tickets still available.
