(Transcript in unknown hand and it is unclear to whom the letter is addressed. Dated 15 Aug. 1818 but bound with letters of Aug. 1819.)

Photograph of framed photograph (the frame appears to be dark tooled leather). Labelled on back in pen (in Kate Symons' hand?): 'Sarah Jane Housman in 1961 [sic: corrected in pencil to 1861] with AEH (aged 2) and Robert (aged 1)'.

(There are two messages. All but the signature of the first, which was probably a general message to all potential subscribers, is in the hand of an amanuensis.)
