Dated 12th August 1913 - Thanks him for his notes on Penuel and Peniel, but reminds him it was Pethuel they were looking for; her Norwegian friend Mr Heiberg described bonfires in Norway on Midsummer's Eve; is enclosing two accounts of native customs from Behar; Mr Fallowfield, the engineer in charge who starts the engine, describes having wreaths hung about his neck.
The Abbey House, Bristol. Is fundraising for the Bishop Butler Tower, and asks for the remainder of the money; complains of his inexplicable Dean (Gilbert Elliot), and shares an epigram about him by the Archdeacon of Taunton (George Denison).

With 22 pages of duplicated playscript inserted at the front, this a slightly different version, with some changes marked with a check mark and a few annotations in the same unidentified hand.

Admy. - Any papers WW sent to Capt. O. Stanley via the Admiralty would have been forwarded - 'but we keep no account of what merely passes through our hands - Your paper on the tides of the Pacific would be highly interesting to him'.
