Edinburgh - Thanks WW for his new edition of the 'History of the Inductive Sciences'. Mr and Mrs Forbes are to take a cottage in the Highlands for the summer vacation. But intend to first take a short excursion - possibly as far as Paris - and would like to take Cambridge in on the way. However, if WW is not there he would hesitate in making the visit: 'Pray have the kindness to advise me'.
