Penrhôs, Holyhead
Tuesday

My dear Mr Montagu

It will be quite convenient of course for you to arrive on Saturday night, but I am very sorry that you shouldnt be able to come Friday. I hope you can stay till Tuesday.

Would you rather sleep at the hotel or have a fly ordered and come up here, it would be no kind of trouble as it would merely mean leaving the door unlocked. Let me know about this, also what time you want to be fetched in the morning if you do stay at the hòtel†.

I cant give you any idea of the glory of the sun and sea here, its been hot and sunny the whole time we’ve been here, I do hope it’ll go on.

Yrs
Venetia Stanley
