With 21 copies of blank printed form: 'Applicants for Situations in the Passenger Department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway are requested to reply, in their own Handwriting, to the following Queries, and present themselves at Mr Blackmore's Office, Victoria Station, Manchester, between the hours of 9 and 11 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This Form, properly filled up and signed by a Director, will pass the Bearer to Manchester for Examination'.
