"Mary.." doing well financially, and he has also received a few favourable opinions. Sent a copy to Bridges, who has asked him to stay. Thanks for the loan of the Rumi and Hafiz, which he is enjoying; is not sure whether Leaf's versions of Hafiz are quite successful as poetry in themselves. Asks how "Solomon" ["The Foolishness of Solomon"?] is getting on, and is glad to hear of "Ariadne" ["The Bride of Dionysus"].
