Feb[ruar]y 15—1831

Gentlemen /

The enclosed paper was left here yesterday—I had made a mistake in the time thinking it was the 17th—I certainly can pay the note immediately, but in consequence of some unforseen†, & severe disappointments I have met with lately, it will be at considerable inconvenience—and could the time be extended to the 6th of April I should be very glad of it—

I am Gentlemen
Y[ou]r Most Obt S[servan]t
Spencer H Kilderbee
