Shares his memories of Peter, who was in his form at King Edward's School, Lytham: excelling in everything literary, artistic and musical; encloses a photocopy of a minuet for violin PS composed [not present]; remembers going to hear Arthur Catterall play the Beethoven violin concerto, and playing the 3rd movement with PS but fears he disappointed him; recalls visiting his home in Blackpool and meeting his family; did maths, and joined the HM Inspectorate via a headship; still plays violin badly. Was known as Derek Marjoram, now Tom.
