I didnt get a letter from you, but you said “Monday or Tuesday” {1} and I wanted to know which as I knew you wouldnt have written to Mother. Had you? I go home tomorrow after long wandering I shall be glad to get back.

Winchester was great fun, I am sorry it is over.

I dont know whether you will ever get this as I am most hazy about your Hickling address.
