1 volume (33 x 20 cm), containing 45 leaves. Folios 4, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31, 33, 35, and 37 are documents bound into the book. Folios 5r, 7r, 8r, 9r, 11r, 12r, 13v, and 14r have documents pasted to them. Folios 15–20 and 39–43 have printed leaves or cuttings mounted on them, the sheets being inserted into spaces cut out of the leaves. The remaining leaves are blank. Half-bound.

On the recto of the first flyleaf is written ‘J Moore’. Inside the front cover are written in pencil, probably by a bookseller or auctioneer, ‘34’ and ‘Starkey’. The armorial bookplate of Robert, Earl of Crewe, is pasted be-low.
