Geschiedenis
Daniel Moore was born around 1760 in Kentish Town, the only son of Alexander Moore. A solicitor, he was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn on 8 February 1814. He was a member of many scientific societies of London, including the Geological Society, Linnean Society, the Horticultural Society, the Society of Antiquaries, the Royal Institution, and the Royal Society, of which he became a fellow on 28 June 1810. He was also a founding member of the Royal Astronomical Society. He died on 6 January 1828.
