Photographs of the temporary hospital erected in the Nevile's Court cloisters and the North and South Paddocks at the beginning of World War I, with images of the cloisters prepared for use as a hospital before soldiers appeared, as well as images with soldiers, doctors, and nurses in the cloisters, and in tents on the North and South Paddocks, with some images of soldiers in New Court. The photographs are primarily candid snapshots with a few posed images, but the photographer is not known.
