            Photograph showing a portion of the north side of Great Court, with the King Edward gate and College Chapel with the fountain in the centre, with a group of four men standing on the cobbles, three of them looking at the camera, and the other looking east. Three of the men wear aprons and the photograph appears to be a candid of men employed by the college. "Trinity College, Cambridge" is printed at lower left and on the verso "E3" is written in ink.

            Photograph of the Great Gate taken close up, with the top of the gate not visible but showing the top of the niche for the statue of King Henry VIII. Both the gate and door in the Great Gate are open, with a view across to the Master's Lodge in Great Court, and a figure standing with his back to the camera in the middle of the court.             Photograph of the interior from the entrance down the length of the library to the Byron statue. Depicts drawn curtains over the Cipriani window, Grylls bookcases lining the sides of the library, two round tables in foreground, and smaller bookcases with lectern tops in the bays. Identified as "Trinity College, Cambridge, Interior of Library" and Stearn Photo, Cambridge" in a note on the verso.

            Certificates, diplomas, photographs, and printed material relating to Atiyah's numerous honorary degrees, memberships, and fellowships of various universities and organisations, with material related to each of the 38 honorary degrees he received. Accompanying the material is a small group of Atiyah's school and university diplomas/certificates, and a group of photographs taken over the years at the Royal Society.

            Stamped in gilt on front cover "Edmund Willmot. Trin: Coll: Camb:" Photograph album of differently coloured pages with photographs pasted on to them, many of them one per page, with captions identifying subjects by surname or surname and forename initials below in ink. A later hand has added notes and has numbered the photographs, both in pencil.

            All of the photographs except for one are posed portraits: number 60 depicts two men at archery. Many of the photographs are signed by the photographer William Mayland.

            Photograph album containing 62 photographs, with images of the interior and exterior of Trinity buildings, rowing eights, crowds on riverbanks, ice skaters on a frozen Cam, other Cambridge colleges, with some photographs of scenes in Wales and a copy of a Murillo painting laid in loose at the back. The photographs appear to all be by commercial photographers, with many blind stamped by Messrs. Stearns, and a few by Scott & Wilkinson Photographers, both of Cambridge. The initials M. O. H. are stamped on the cover, this is probably Mark Oliver Hunter, who arrived in Michaelmas 1892 and obtained his BA in 1895.

            The identified items include photographs of holidays in Wales in 1934, Yorkshire in 1935, France in 1936, and Austria in 1937, as well as ‘home scenes’ and Neild’s school at Abinger Hill, in Surrey. They show Neild himself, as well as various family members and friends.
